Pixie Van Dimple’s Recycle Wrap (Circularity!)

Pixie Van Dimple and me have written lyrics for a rap! It ‘s called ‘Recycle Wrap (Circularity!) and it is an anthem for change! Yes indeed! and we have BIG plans for it! We thought carefully about the lyrics and the message we want to get out there.

What do you think peeps? We were talking to the ‘Eco Warriors’ only last week at Richmond Upon Thames Secondary about Pixie’s new book Pixie Van Dimple and the Wrong Kind of Plastic – which is OUT SOON ! We wanted to highlight the themes in the book – plastic pollution, recycling, climate change and renewable energy by doing a little presentation! What they were waiting for though was to perform the RAP! They were really excited and could hardly contain themselves ! – we decided we would all take part clapping the beat and some of the students performed at the front of the class… we knew we could make MORE noise so we all joined in and very LOUDLY shouting ‘RECYCLE! REFILL! REUSE! REPURPOSE! REMEMBER! REWARDS! REDUCE! RIGHT! READY! ROCKIN’ THE TREND! … CIRCULARITY!’

Brilliant! We want to make it LOUDER everyone!! Get MORE people involved! More children and MORE voices! And spread the word! We would like to set a CHALLENGE. How many of you can get YOUR schools involved to record yourselves performing the rap? Audio or video, we would LOVE to hear them ALL.. we could even organise a huge ZOOM call to get everyone on it TOGETHER! what do we think?

To get things started, post your videos or audios online and tag us in on social media or email them to us at pixie@lynn-mcallister.com ! Experiment, beatbox, create your own beat, music, sampling – sky’s the limit!

Don’t forget – It’s all goin’ down and it’s gonna be #gucci ! PRESS START !!!!!!!!!

And LOVE from Pixie Van Dimple XOXOXO
