Meet Trixie, Pixie’s awesome 15 year old sister!

Trixie is super passionate about football and dreams of joining a top youth club – she maybe even go on to be a professional footballer and get into a Premier League team in the future! She is determined to learn all she can about the game and practice her football skills whenever she can.

She is taking her training seriously and knows that good nutrition is key to playing her best. With all the training sessions and matches she plays she knows that she needs to keep her energy levels up and keep in tip top condition – learn about Sports Science!

After chatting with Pixie (who learned all about nutrition in “Pixie Van Dimple and the Wrong Kind of Wind” ), they found some amazing tips on how to eat right for football.

Here are some of their top tips:

Carbs for Energy: Whole grains, fruits and veggies are Trixie’s go-to for energy before matches and training.

Protein for Muscle Recovery: Lean meats, dairy and plant-based proteins help her muscles recover and grow.

Stay Hydrated: Water is essential before, during and after training.

Balanced Meals: Eating the right foods at the right times keeps her fueled and ready to play.

Remember, your body is like a car – it needs the right fuel to run smoothly and have clean emissions!

Speaking of which …. farting is a natural part of digestion (giggle!) – we all do it at least 20 times a day! Make sure that your farts are ‘green’ and not ‘purple’ peeps!

We will keep you updated on Trixie’s Football Journey….. watch this space…

What do you dream of doing in the future?

Let us know,

Lots of love
