Everybody’s gone surfin’..!

Pixie Van Dimple LOVES the OCEAN and she LOVES SURFING!

We have waited a long time for our British Summer and now finally we have some SUN! Yay! Now that we have the opportunity to enjoy our trips to the seaside and enjoy the ocean, maybe even try a bit of surfing like Pixie (safely of course) , we must think also about keeping our oceans and beaches clean from pollutants and sewage, yes sewage ! and preserving marine life so we can continue to enjoy reaping the many benefits the ocean can bring us for many centuries to come! The ocean has long been thought to have healing properties and induces a sense of wellbeing and relaxation, which in turn is beneficial for our mental health!

Have you heard of the SAS? Not the super duper ninja types who put people through extreme physical and psychological endurance training on the TV, which is super commendable, but the other SAS – yes Surfers Against Sewage!

Pixie Van Dimple is so impressed with the work they are doing and the campaigns they have ongoing tacking plastic pollution and protecting the UKs coastlines, that she subscribed to be a member and will be looking to get involved in beach cleanups and litter picking ! Have a look at their website and check out what you can do to help! You could join the Million Mile Beach Clean ! How proud would you be that you helped out and made a difference! That is what this is all about.. everyone doing their bit! We know that there are many more things that need to be done to achieve major change, but taking pride in your environment, cleaning up the beaches and tackling litter really helps!

When you join as a member you receive a full membership pack with loads of information and an Ocean Activist BADGE ! Yay!
