Pixie and I touched on life’s purpose in our last blog – and it all started with artificial intelligence, again! Pesky AI seems to be able to do just about everything and is omnipresent, popping up everywhere – you cannot click on a website now without an AI chatbot bouncing about on to the screen giving you a wave! Every device you have will now have built in AI to ‘assist’ you so you don’t really have to do anything!
Just tap a few buttons or shout the odd command having activated voice recognition – to such a degree that we will be wondering what the point of us is! Perhaps to ‘lounge’?? hence the amount of ‘lounging’ apparel there is in shops! Someone wake me up from all this inactivity and endless scrolling …. oh no it’s all happening again – put the smartphone down and switch it off before Swombiewolf gets inside your head and infiltrates your brain.
Now seriously, we need to focus Pixie – the thing is that AI can do a lot of things but is not uniquely human like we discussed in our last blog. But if we feel overshadowed by the spectre of AI technology – the all consuming, smug cleverness of it, taking over everything – sometimes slightly clinical, sometimes a corrupted auto-generated bag of nonsense, sometimes razor sharp, precise and powerful, learning and growing in complexity – then we need to search out OUR PURPOSE to get REAL again
BTW I do know that AI has the potential to change our lives irreversibly and be the most wondrous set of codes ever to be invented capitulating us into a new dawn!.. however we still need to seek out our ‘reason to be, our ‘raison d’etre’. Find your soul and vibe, the essence of you that keeps your heart beating.
So Pixie and I have done a bit of tapping ourselves and here is the result – again diving into the concept of existentialism (big word, deep thinking guys!) – remember you have the power to chose your own path, write your own script and discover meaning and depth as you travel along with a thoroughly imperfect swagger beating your own drum!

As always, we would love to hear what you think, your ideas – email us pixie@lynn-mcallister.com
